The Union experienced yesterday one of its traditional big day with the celebration of the Feast of St. Barbara, patroness of Mining and Miners, who paid tribute unionenses led by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and the Minister of Industry , Enterprise and Innovation, José Ballesta, on a day which was also attended by councilors of the Municipal Corporation, several Directors General and Regional Representatives, and Business Representatives and the Forces of State Security.
The main events were an Minera Mass and subsequent Homage in Mining Monument with Floral Offering under the sound of the National Anthem, and culminating in a spectacular Barrenazo, mascletá style that shook the foundations of our town center.
In addition, throughout the day we could enjoy Musical Parade, Rockets, exhibitions of students of the School of Flamenco Cante de las Minas Art and Open at the Museums and the Mining Park of La Union doors, all of which contributed hundreds of people to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere yesterday was lived in our city.
