The renowned journalist and poet, Antonio Lucas, a preacher of the latest edition of the International Festival del Cante de las Minas, just boost with the award of the Prize for Poetry Loewe undoubtedly the most prestigious award that exists in our country on this art.
Lucas, son of famed painter ciezano José Lucas, who made the sign of the Festival in 2008, gave this summer in La Union one of the brightest cries that are remembered in the history of the Cathedral of Cante, which served to frame gold letters the beginning of one of the most spectacular events to date flamingos.
The poet, journalist and cultural editor of the newspaper El Mundo, is also regular contributor to the Festival of La Union, which is supporting and altruistic decisively over the years by his great love for this land and cante jondo in the same live.
Antonio Lucas had previously won other awards such as the Critical Eye Award National Radio of Spain, the International Prize Melilla or Adonais Prize, among others.
