Today begins the week cultural religious honor of the centenary of the Christ of the Miners (11/11/2013)

Today Monday, at 20:30 pm, the Hall Pinion House will host the inaugural ceremony of the Week of the religious and cultural that Illustrious Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Miners, in collaboration with our City Council has scheduled to commemorate the centenary of the carving.

In the planned events is planned broad participation of society unionenses and, of course, of all groupings that make up the Brotherhood, plus Easter Cartagena also pay tribute to the Lord during this time of the Mine.

The variety and depth of the planned events will surely be the distinguishing mark of the week and the same are invited all citizens of the Union.

The program of events is as follows:

Day 11 MONDAY

At 20:30 pm in the Auditorium of the Town Hall:

- Presentation of the Religious-Cultural Week dedicated to the commemoration of the centenary of the arrival of Christ of La Union Miners, by Deputy Mayor for Culture D.

Julio Garcia Cegarra.

- Presentation of the audiovisual "Centenary of the Christ of the Miners".

Made by Josefina Almeda Sanabria, written by Francisco J.

Ródenas.

- Presentation of the book "The Christ of the Miners' Union," Centennial commemorative publication, the work of D.

Francisco J.

Ródenas Rozas and edited by the Hon.

City of La Union.

The presentation will be conducted by the author of the work and D.

José Miguel Vegas Balboa Official Chronicler of the Brotherhood.

- Tribute to the figure of D.

José Gerique Chust, Sculptor Carving Christ.

- Tribute to the figure of D.

Teulon Andrés Bisso, Director of the Municipal Fire Brigade's Union commissioned the carving of Christ, in the person of his granddaughter, Mrs. Adelaide Navarro Teulon.

Day 12 TUESDAY

At 19:30 pm in the Temple of the Rosary:

- Solemn Mass in memory of all our miners, led by our Pastor Counselor, D.

Ginés Luis Vicente Blasco.

- Offering to the Blessed.

Miners Christ by the Home for the Elderly of La Union.

- Performance of the Rondalla Home for the Elderly at the Eucharist.

- Postal Delivery.

At 20:30 pm in the Assembly Hall of the Brotherhood:

- Recognition Act Responsible Union Red Cross, with delivery of Diplomas to the Chairman of the Local Board and D.

Enrique Gijon in recognition of their participation in the decision on the mining invocation Christ (1958).

- Recognition Ceremony Red Cross members the image of Christ saved from destruction in 1936, with assistance from their family members.

Day 13 WEDNESDAY (Day dedicated to the children of La Union)

At 11:00 pm in the Temple of the Rosary:

- Colleges Offering to STMO.

CHRIST.

The offerings consist of nonperishable food.

Subsequently, it delivered will be donated to Red Cross and Caritas for distribution to needy families.

- Blessing of Christ and gift cards to each child of a postcard.

At 19:30 pm in the Temple of the Rosary:

- Mass celebrated by our Pastor with appreciation to all the Elder Brothers of the Brotherhood and Presidents of the Association.

At 20:30 pm in the Assembly Hall of the Brotherhood:

- Lecture-Conference by Pastor of San Ginés de Cartagena, D.

Juan Manuel Martinez Rosillo, on the Christ of the Miners.

Day 14 THURSDAY

At 19:30 pm in the Temple of the Rosary:

- Celebration of the Eucharist presided by our Pastor.

- Offering to STMO.

Christ of the following entities: KNIGHTS OF SANTA BARBARA, ENTREPRENEURS ASSOCIATION and ASSOCIATION OF HOUSEWIVES.

- Delivery of postal

At 20:30 pm in the Assembly Hall of the Brotherhood:

- Conference on the restoration process of the stature of Christ, by the Director of the Regional Centre for Restoration of Cultural Heritage, D.

Day 15 Friday (Day Fellowships dedicated to Easter)

At 19:30 pm in the Temple of the Rosary:

- Solemn Eucharist with blessing (incensed) of the image of Christ led by Mr

Jose Manzano.

- Offering to STMO.

CHRIST each Easter groupings.

- Special Concert Band Music Group Union, with interpretation of the march "Christ of the Miners" Grau teacher.

Day 16 SATURDAY (Day Easter dedicating our Christ Cartagena).

At 10:30 pm in the City Council:

- Welcome to Big Brothers and Brotherhoods Boards of the Passion of Cartagena.

- Visit the Museum of Holy Week and Head Mining Guild.

- Transfer to La Unión Mining Park for your visit.

At 19:30 pm in the Temple of the Rosary:

- Solemn Mass celebrated by our Pastor D.

Luis Miguel Garcia Máiquez, with the assistance of the Elder Brothers of Cartagena and the Boards of the Brotherhoods of Passion of Cartagena.

- Offering to STMO Act.

CHRIST of each of the Elder Brothers of Cartagena.

- Delivery of a memory of the Elder Brothers.

- Words of Appreciation Big Brother of the Confraternity of the Most Holy.

Miners Christ.

Day 17 SUNDAY 17

At 11:30 am

- Transfer of the Christ on the shoulders of his Knights Portapasos, from the Red Cross headquarters to City Hall, escorted by a squad of Red Cross Volunteer Fire and accompanied by trumpets and drums.

- Reception of Christ by Mr. Mayor, officials and guests, commemorating 100 years of their arrival.

- The Christ will address portapasos shoulders of all the different groupings of Easter to the Church, through the Paez River and Plaza Street Journalist García Mateos.

- Tribute Act Municipal Fire Brigade, of which the Christ was Patron, Plaza Journalist García Mateos (Local Police), former seat of Park Fire Brigade.

- From there you play your first transfer (1913) to the Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario Street Plaza Doctor Living and Glorieta.

- On reaching the door of the Church, a Grand Traca shot.

- Then Solemn Eucharist.

- Before the end of the Mass, they discover a Centennial Commemorative Plaque by the Mayor.

- Act for appointment to the Blessed.
