Yesterday, Sunday, was inaugurated the new Bike Trial circuit of the town of Portman, in a ceremony attended by the President of the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia, José Tortosa, who was accompanied by the Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, who was accompanied by the village headman, Jose Luis Rubi, and the Councillor for Sports, Laura Vicente, the Councillor for Education, Julio García, Councillor of Finance, Ginés Raja, and the Councillor for Social Policy, Rosa Pagan.
The new facilities, which are located in the area of ​​this district municipal sports unionense, have been cataloged by the federation technical as some of the best that currently exist in Europe for this sport.
In order to mark the occasion, after the inauguration was celebrated Regional Championship Bike Trial, which involved fifty athletes from various places in Spain, and among those who were world champions even this specialty.
The competition results were: beginner category, Eduardo Richart Martín, juvenile category, Antonio Martín Hernández, junior class, Richart Arthur Martin, cadet, Jose Martin Murillo Miigica, junior Sergio Lopez Caler, female category, Cecilia Sopeña Espa, senior category, Sergio García Martínez, and elite status, Raul Martinez Carrasco.
The test was organized by the Trial Bike Club, in collaboration with the City of La Union, announcing his vice president, Matthew Murillo, next creating a club to practice this sport at Portman, who will become the third sport wheels in our town, after the Union Cycling Club and Club MTB Mar Menor.
