This coming school year which begins in a few days will see improved their educational performance in La Union with important decisions affecting the two Secondary Schools available to the municipality.
On the one hand, the Institute Cegarra Maria Salcedo happens to become bilingual school from promoting this year begins 1 of the ESO, which will be in the English language to their students accordingly to achieve the best possible preparation for thereof.
On the other hand, Sierra Mining Institute, who already enjoyed bilingualism, will this year provide an additional classroom from 1 of the ESO, thus providing a total of five that make impossible to meet the demand for places that has had the center.
Both decisions have been taken by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Employment of the Region of Murcia after the efforts in this direction from the Department of Education of the City of La Union, led Julio Garcia, and directions and parent groups of the two Institutes.
