On Wednesday, August 7 semifinal begins the 53 contests International Festival del Cante de las Minas and will continue on 8 and 9 from 22:00 pm at the Cathedral of Cante.

Among the applicants are fifteen singers, four guitarists, five dancers and four musicians flamingos competing for trophies of the four categories: Mining Lamp (singing), Bordon Miner (guitar), Desplante (dance) and Philo (instrumentalist Flemish).
Thus, in the first semifinal act a total of twelve contestants among which are six singers, two guitarists, two flamenco dancers and two musicians.
