The Old Public Market was on Saturday, once again, the site chosen by the musical group The Union for the closing concert of the current academic year.
Hundreds of people filled the pit enclosure to enjoy the great performance of the brilliant musicians that make up the formation unionenses and how superbly directed Bernardo Carrasco Victoria, School Band, and Francisco José González Campillo, in the Band .
The pieces were performed by the Band School: Aladdin by Alan Menken and Out of Africa by John Barry, and by the Band: Concert March 1941 From John Williams, Amercian Graphity of Naohiro Iwai, Camino Real by Alfred Reed, Cumbachero of Naohiro Iwai, Naohiro Iwai Frenesi, Most of all of Naohiro Iwai, Naohiro Iwai and Caravan.
On behalf of the City, the Deputy Mayor of Culture, Julio Garcia, said a few words of congratulations and gratitude to the great family of the musical group The Union also in the process presented the check to the local annual grant for the operation of his music school.
