Portman yesterday held the second edition of the Triathlon, which was attended by a total of 244 athletes from all over Spain who praised the extraordinary journey that was planned by the heads of the Yacht Club and the Spanish Athletics Federation, in collaboration with the City.
The test consisted of performing 1 km swim in the Bay, 30 km cycling in the Sierra and in 6km race through the streets of Portman.
The male overall winners were, in first place, Gonzalo Acevedo Pardo, in second position, Francisco José Conesa Castejón, and thirdly, Eduardo Chordá Tur, and in the female category were, first position, Mabel Garcia Gallardo, second Patricia Nicolas Valera , and in third place, Marina Martinez Lopez, and local category were male, Angel Antonio Pueyo Sánchez, José Carlos Caparros Garcia and Jose Ruiz López, respectively, and one local female champion, Mari Carmen Marín Jiménez.
It should be noted the massive public attendance throughout the competition, which helped increase its brightness and good atmosphere that was experienced throughout the day.
