The Commission on Strategic Development Project Portman Bay, was held this morning a new workshop, which this time has been a meeting place Pinion House, home of our City.
The meeting was attended, by the Regional Government, the Director General of Economy, Planning and Strategic Projects, Luis Martinez de Salas, the Director General of Planning and Housing, Yolanda Muñoz, the Director General of Industry, Energy and Mines, Pedro Jimenez, the Director General of Environment, Amador Lopez, and the Director General of Tourism, Enrique Ujaldón.
On behalf of the City Council attended by the Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, Councillor of the Presidency, Carlos Martinez, the Town Planning, Salvador Martinez, Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Liarte, Industry Councilman Fernando Alcaraz, and the village elder of Portman, Jose Luis Rubi.
The meeting focused on the status of processing the new bid being prepared by the Ministry of Environment for the Regeneration of the Bay.
It also has been said about the economic studies being undertaken in relation to the new marina and fishing also has been advanced in relation to spatial planning of the future performance of regional interest that will be developed in the vicinity of the Bay and that will allow sustainable tourism development and high quality can generate prosperity and jobs.
