Socialist spokesman, Mariano Oliver, said it is necessary to react to avoid the full impact of the crisis fall on the most vulnerable part of the mortgage contract, and instead, financial institutions maintain their strong position in the foreclosure that results the loss of housing for thousands of families.
Oliver added that "we are not just talking about the loss of housing for families, with all that that implies, but also a lifetime financial condemnation."
The PSOE Union considers inadmissible and totally unfair collective drama that many families are going through our town, a social reality that overwhelms us and causes enormous damage to social cohesion and an untenable situation that requires responsibility and will of all government.
Socialist spokesman said the legislation ever passed by the National Government does not solve the problem in its real dimension, to be excluded from the measures thousands of families will continue to suffer as now their plight.
Oliver said the Municipal Socialist Group will propose at the next plenary session on 30 November, for discussion and approval, as measures to require financial institutions to halt evictions of supervening insolvency residence into effect until a new legal framework, creating a special commission of evictions at the municipal level, implementation of a public park for social rent and other to help solve this social drama.
