The head of the Environment of IU-Greens, Victoria Rodriguez, today accused the central government of "truncating the hopes" of the regeneration of the Bay of Portman and "once again perpetuate environmental debt."
Rodriguez has reacted well after hearing the announcement of the Ministry of Environment of the regeneration of the Bay will not to contest this year.
Compared the "neglect" of government in relation to this project and the commitment to building a macropuerto in The Gorguel, an infrastructure that, in his opinion, "damage" regeneration.
He criticized that "once again starts the confusion of figures, that all he does is to avoid responsibility for the various administrations in the regeneration of the Bay".
"In all this is not harmless President of the Autonomous Community and the mayor of La Union, it's time to take a clear stance and define the future they want for this region because of the Gorguel macropuerto bring more destruction."
It has therefore opted for the regeneration of the Bay, the establishment of a model of the mountain mining reclamation and creation of new employment niches that contribute to the development of the Region of Murcia with environmental sustainability criteria, justice and solidarity.
