The Embassy of the United States of America in Madrid has been the site of a meeting which was attended by the Cultural Attaché of the nation in Spain, Amy Bliss, Patricia Alonso and advice from the Embassy, ​​while on behalf of our Flamenco Festival attended by the Mayor of La Union and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Foundation Cante de las Minas, and Congressman Andres Ayala.
The meeting, which was rated as very satisfactory for both parties, has served to discuss various aspects of internationalization Cante de las Minas and its projection in the United States, a nation in which our highly regarded music and respect.
It may be recalled that last August, The Union was honored to receive the view of Ambassador Alan Solomont, in the first official visit himself to the Region of Murcia, on the occasion of the award of the Cathedral of Our Singing festival in this country.
