This is the first thematic exhibition on mining making the photographer Murcia, and is presented in the International Festival del Cante de las Minas.
The exhibition, which opens on Tuesday July 31, will remain open until August 11 at Avenida del Flamenco.
The Union, July 27, 2012. - The International Festival del Cante de las Minas, the photographer exposes Ujaldón Murcia Soledad in La Union his first work on mining theme, Color Field Mine, which opens next Tuesday 31 July at 21 am, on Avenue Del Flamenco (Plaza Joaquín Costa, opposite the Old Public Market), and will remain open until 11 August.
With this series of photographs, Soledad Ujaldón invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the uniqueness of the mining landscape where unexpected colors bathe a disturbing elements enriched geography abandoned mine, which were once active part of an industry made known to the Union was its borders giving work to locals and visitors.
The pictures have been treated with sensitivity for color known to the artist who has captured the nostalgia and strength of those remains oxidized, and now desert places, giving them a new value which invites to visit them and check, in situ, thus providing a their snapshots.
Exposure of Soledad Ujaldón is part of the activities of the museums, which alongside the Festival, is being made and have become a hallmark of the festival.
