Sociology, journalism or history are some of the fields whose relationship with flamenco will be addressed in the "Third International Congress on Flemish university research," one of the events that make up the programming of the International University Campus Mar-Mare Nostrum, to be held at The Union from 19 to 21 July.
The conference will bring together leading researchers of the phenomenon known flamenco artists, some of them holding the "Lamp Mining Union."
It is in the words of the organizers, "an excellent opportunity to indulge in body and soul to this art."
The conference will include two separate readings of winning with the Mining Lamp Encarnacion Fernandez and Rocio Marquez, as well as a concert flamenco guitarist Juan Torres "Habichuela Nieto," Bordon Minero 2011.
Will also feature the participation of flamenco artists such as Franz Joseph and Archangel Ramos, Carlos Conesa Piñana, Antonio Parra Booming, Norberto Torres Cortes, Jose Luis Navarro Garcia, José Manuel Gamboa Rodríguez, Gerhard Steingress, Balbino Gutiérrrez Quesada and Javier Latorre.
The course lasts 25 hours, and who are registered will be entitled to 2.5 free credits or 1 credit ECTS-CRAU.
