Sierra Minera bilingual school]
The municipality of La Union already has two schools whose academic program is taught in the Spanish English Bilingual Education, the College Sabina Mora and Secondary School "Sierra Minera" given the importance of promoting better education and learning of foreign languages.
In the latter center, five teaching periods taught English subject and three non-language subjects in the same language in all courses from Compulsory Secondary Education.
In addition to the Bilingual Program, IES.
Sierra Minera develop other projects like Comenius and Erasmus Programmes such as Leonardo da Vinci, which aim to strengthen the European dimension in education, while promoting student mobility and internships abroad.
