The City of Lorca and the Cante de las Minas Foundation have released today the details of the Gala II Solidarity "by Lorca Flamenco", which will be held at Sun City on Saturday May 26.
On this occasion all flamenco enthusiasts can enjoy an exceptional line with the participation of four winners of the contests last year's Festival del Cante de las Minas de La Unión undoubtedly the brightest promises of art jondo who tread the stage today in Spain.
The artists will be the singer Celia Romero won the Mining Lamp, guitarist Juan Torres "Habichuela Nieto", winner of Bordon Minero, the dancer Lucia Alvarez "The Piñona" winning Desplante and pianist Sergio Monroy, winner of The Reef the best instrumentalist flamenco.
The presentation has been done by the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, and the mayor of La Union and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Foundation Cante de las Minas, Francisco Bernabé, who have encouraged all flamenco lovers of Murcia and surrounding areas to attend and enjoy this great show and also work together to help the reconstruction of Lorca, which has just celebrated the first anniversary of the fateful earthquake last May 11, 2011.
The gala will be held at the fairgrounds in Santa Quiteria lorquina city and will begin at 22.00.
The ticket price is 10 euros.
