The Ministry of Health and Social Policy in the Region of Murcia, Maria Angeles Palacios, has received our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and Alderman of Health, Fernando Alcaraz, in order to discuss various health issues affecting our town.
In this sense, Palacios reported that due to the reorganization of health to ensure efficiency in view of the activity and use of the existential point, is studying the possibility of removing the focus on Portman's office in the afternoon, without having yet made a decision.
Our representatives, while being aware of the seriousness of the situation, we have expressed the need to do everything possible to maintain the service.
The Minister informs them that if there is a determination will be informed if it affects the maintenance of current health benefits.
The meeting was also attended by the Mayor of Librilla and Campos del Rio, whose respective health centers are in a situation similar to that of Portman study.
On the other hand, it also has discussed the progress of the redevelopment of the Health Center Union, advancing very rapidly and have its first phase scheduled for completion next June.
