Municipal Public Library "Andrés Cegarra Salcedo" (Building "Progress") has welcomed the holding of activities marking the International Day of the Book.
During the Monday 23 and Tuesday 24, groups of students from schools in the Union have been guided tours of the library facilities, with particular depth in the permanent exhibition dedicated to the Brothers Cegarra Salcedo and other prominent writers unionenses.
They knew the building's unique history, its various sections and services and the variety of available formats and library materials (paper, CD-DVD, e-book, online resources).
Finally, participated in activities of storytelling and public reading of poems from the balcony of "The Bell of Words".
