Local Police Union on Friday welcomed the tribute to its patron, Saint Patrick, which this time were covered with a special ceremony on the occasion of the homage that was paid to all those governments, companies, organizations and individuals who helped altruistically and generous last August 19, 2011 for the work of extinguishing the fire that devastated much of the Sierra Minera and likewise caused the evacuation and relocation of the entire population of Portman.

The meetings began with the traditional Mass in honor of St. Patrick, held at Our Lady of Rosary Church and was officiated by the pastor D.

Antonio Jose Carbonero.

After that, a packed hall of the House hosted the event Pinion institutional tribute, which was chaired by the Director General of Environment of the Region of Murcia, Amador Lopez, and our Mayor, Francisco Barnabas, who in his words on behalf of the City Council congratulated all honored with diplomas of gratitude and praised in all their professionalism, courage and generosity they demonstrated last summer and it shows the undoubted spirit of solidarity that characterizes them.
