The Cante de las Minas Foundation has opened today in registration deadlines for the contests of the next edition of the Festival del Cante de las Minas, to be held in the Union between 1 and August 11, 2012.
Specifically, the deadline for registration in Sing contests (Mining Lamp trophy), guitar (trophy Bordon Minero) and dance (trophy Desplante) will remain open until April 30, while for the contest instrumentalist flamenco the period ends on June 15, 2012.
Once formalized the inscriptions, the contestants will go through a series of pre-selection tests to take place throughout Spain during the months of June and July this year, and those participants who will qualify for the semi-finals and of August.
It has also left open the submission of work for the International Cultural Call event, which will remain open until July 15 and will reward the best work on flamenco in poetry, prose, journalism, art, discography, research and gastronomy.
