The new Secretary of State for Tourism, Elizabeth Borrego, received this morning in Madrid to our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of the Presidency, Culture and Tourism, Carlos Martinez, Julio Garcia and Antonio Liarte, respectively.
In the meetings held has been raised to the Secretary of State the need to promote to the outside of the enormous attractions such as Union Mining Town owns and Flemish, thanks to the Mining Park and the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas.
In this regard, the Ministry has committed to implement an innovative and impactful campaign, whose details will be announced next spring, in which the cultural heritage of our town will be a symbol of attraction in Spain outside.
Finally, Barnabas has been very pleased with the outcome of the meeting as it was the first official reception has made a municipality in the Region of Murcia to the Secretary of State for Tourism, who also, is committed to provide prompt visit to La Union to meet on site.
