Our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, has seized this morning in Madrid as a member of the National Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, comprising more than 8,000 municipalities in Spain.
Specifically, Barnabas is part of the Environment Committee, which represented a total of 25 municipalities throughout the State and is chaired by the President of the Provincial de Pontevedra.
This is the first time that a mayor of La Union is part of a national governing body of the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
Our first mayor welcomed the designation and acquisition of the Committee on the Environment, because since she will be able to raise more strength and resolve all issues concerning the regeneration of Portman Bay and the need for the work commences as soon as possible.
