In yesterday's workshops were closed Flamenco Dance and Spanish Dance Mining, which have been organized by the Foundation Cante de las Minas and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, through the Campus of Mare Nostrum, and with the collaboration of Dance Conservatory of Murcia.
In total, 22 students who have attended the Congress, which has consisted of 3 courses: One miner Tarantos Dance, Dance by other Tangos and a stylized dance shoes and castanets.
Teachers who have taught the classes have been known dancers Angel Rojas and Carlos Rodríguez, director of the New Spanish Ballet, who have expressed their satisfaction with the high level shown by the students and their enthusiasm to continue participating in future editions of this congress.
The classes were taught in the classrooms of dancing Union Youth Space, regular venue for teaching at the School of Flamenco Cante de las Minas.
With the completion of this university congress, together with development last summer in collaboration with the University of Murcia, and the Congresses have been two this year University Foundation has promoted Cante de las Minas, achieving major goals: flamenco institutions in the field of teaching in higher education.
