The success is achieving at all levels our Mining Park and its major impact nationally is causing it is becoming an example and a benchmark for mining past those locations that want to reorient their activities towards the tourism sector.
And proof of this is the recent visit by the mayor of the Andalusian village of Lucainena, accompanied by a municipal councilor and a technician has done to our town to see first hand both the mining park facilities as the management model and implementation thereof.
Almeria representation was received by our Mayor and Councillor for Tourism, Francisco and Antonio Liarte Barnabas, was impressed by what this achieved in such a short space of time and, in particular the spectacular Mina Groups Vicenta, showing his desire to develop in a similar model municipality of La Union.
