The Foundation Board Cante de las Minas in Murcia has held its last regular session of the year in order to comply with the various issues covered by the law for this type of organisms.
Among other issues, the meeting which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Government of Spain, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Region of Murcia and the City of La Union has served to formally adopt the plan of actions taken during the financial year 2011, and to give an advance notice of the settlement of the accounts and whose positive outcome is expected.
In another order of things, the Board also approved the draft report of activities scheduled for 2012, the request for the Gold Medal of Fine Arts for our Festival, the ratification of Carlos Piñana as Director of the Escuela de Arte Flamenco The hiring of an accounting firm to audit the accounts of the Foundation and the acquisition of various furniture and equipment for the better development of the foundation's activities.
Finally, our Mayor and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Foundation, Francisco Barnabas wanted to thank outgoing Ministry responsible involvement and work for the implementation of this entity, as well as backup and support throughout in recent years Cante de las Minas.
