The assembly hall of the House of Pinon, Town Hall of La Union and regularly hosts the Cultural Agenda del Cante de las Minas, has welcomed this morning the presentation of the activities of the second class of Flamenco Art School Foundation Cante de las Minas.
Over one hundred students from various Autonomous Communities are enrolled in courses this edition of Sing (early and middle level), Guitar (early and middle level), Dancing (initial, intermediate and advanced) and Percussion (level medium), there is also the possibility of enrollment in the course of musical language (notation).
Classes are held on Saturdays and every one is two hours.
The school, one year will be led by renowned guitarist Carlos Piñana, will have the same teachers who did so well last year, that is, Encarnación Fernández, Antonio Ayala "The Ramp" Contreras and Sebastian "Bastian" (Sing) Antonio Muñoz Fernández, Rosendo Fernandez and Juan Martinez Solano (Guitar), Clotilde Corvi, Beatriz Arce and Mamen Bathrooms (Dance), Miguel Angel Orengo (Cajon) and Jose Francisco Ortega (Musical Language).
The presentation ceremony was chaired by our Mayor, Francisco Barnabas, by the Deputy Mayor for Culture, Julio Garcia, coordinator of the Foundation, Manolo Navarro, and the Director of the School, Carlos Piñana.
