The new Board of Directors of the Confederation of Cartagena and its Region (COEC), with its president Pedro Pablo Hernandez at the helm, has been received in our City by our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and the Councillor of the Presidency, Carlos Martinez.
The meeting, which also involved representatives of employers and merchants unionense, Miranda and Leandro Mariano Martinez has served to establish new projects and working lines to be set for the next few years by the business community in cooperation with the municipalities of the county and the region.
In this sense, the firm commitment to enhancing the tourist values ​​of our municipality, in making the future development of Portman with the potentiation of our rich heritage and cultural values ​​(Parque Minero y Cante de las Minas) has set as one of the major goals to achieve.
Similarly, the importance of creating a new Logistics Action Zone (ZAL) linked to the Port of Cartagena, and its positive impact on the Union, has also been another issue that has focused on the game.
Both sides have described as very successful meeting and agreed to hold further meetings on a regular basis to keep track of all business development issues of the Union and the Campo de Cartagena.
