Detainees with a history of committing crimes similanres
The Civil Guard of Murcia has developed research with the aim to eradicate the commission of vehicle thefts in the town of La Union, which has led to the arrest of 6 people, 3 of them minors, and recovery of stolen effects.
So far, the rapid action of the Civil Guard helped to clarify a dozen counts of robbery with force inside the vehicle, committed in the Union over the last two months, and recover much of the stolen effects that had been distributed to responsive responsible for its sale.
The investigation was launched to mark the significant increase in robberies inside parked vehicles in the town of La Union, which had led to social unrest in the population.
From initial police investigations performed, the Guardia Civil obtained conclusive evidence that led the agents to determine that after the thefts were investigated young men, making later identification and know their acting illegally.
Modus operandi
This illegal activity is carried out in night slot, taking advantage of darkness and low rates to avoid detection.
The objectives of these young people were vehicles parked on the street, usually vans.
Used to commit robberies with blunt force, bending frames or fracturing the glass doors to get inside and steal vehicles and personal effects, tools of the owners.
After an exhaustive analysis of information gathered has been able to confirm the involvement of these people in 10 property crimes (robberies in vehicle interior) committed in La Union.
Detainees:
This action has proceeded to the arrest of six people, three of them children, as alleged perpetrators of the crime of burglary and receiving stolen property, identified as:
- Spanish, 30 years and resident of Cartagena.
- Spanish, 34, resident of Cartagena.
- Spanish, 19 years and resident of La Union.
3 minors.
Most of the detainees with a history of committing similar crimes.
The prisoners, recovered and proceedings initiated effects have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Cartagena (Murcia).
