Over the next 6 to October 12, the Union will re-live their traditional festivities in honor of the Virgen del Rosario, Mayor Perpetua and Patroness of our town.
On Thursday, at 9 pm the traditional "Chupinazo" thrown from the balconies of our City Council will kick off at 7 days full of events filled with excitement and fun, all free of charge and open to participation of all citizens.
The Parade of the Rocks from the House Pinion to the fairgrounds, the Proclamation of our Pastor Antonio Jose Carbonero, and the Coronation Ceremony are the strengths of the program tomorrow, that will lead to Friday, November 7, local festival, acts of homage to our patron saint with a Mass in his honor in the morning, to be followed by a Great Barbecue People on Main Street.
In the afternoon the procession of Our Lady will shoulders through the streets of La Union.
On Saturday, undoubtedly the main dish will be the Grand Parade of Costumes, while Sunday is expected again at noon a massive public attendance of participants and the now traditional paella contest, closing the evening with a flamenco performance by Rocío Márquez and Manuel Cuevas, who won both of the Mining Lamp International Festival of Cante de las Minas.
