This morning I have been officially inaugurated the refurbishment and fitting out of the four wadis (Downloader, El Duende, Porras and El Taller) running through the town of La Union.
The event was attended by the President of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura, Maria del Rosario Quesada, and the Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, accompanied both by representatives of both institutions and the contractor.
The works have been developed over the last year and have had a cost of nearly 2 million euros, highlighting the same for both the placement of margins and stony bottom of the channels, such as the burial of several sections, including most notably the one made between the neighborhoods of Santa Barbara and Sierra Minera, which has even created a promenade, and children's games and bocce.
Our mayor has highlighted the great leap in quality that has seen the town with this performance, as well as a significant aesthetic improvement, has also achieved a substantial increase in health, safety and health of the streams and their surroundings.
