Union City Council will choose to attracting funding from various European Union as agreed in this morning's meeting held at the Casa del Pinon, our Mayor, Francisco Bernabé, and the Director General of the Union European and External Relations, Carmen Sandoval.
At the meeting, which was attended by experts from both administrations, have tried various initiatives relating especially to new investment in culture and tourism, in order to further develop the great potential and attractive as a mining town and flamenco shows our location.
The mayor stressed the importance of opening new avenues of funding, in this case with European funds, to address the important challenges ahead for our town, and that the absence of economic opportunities in the regional administration and central government sets in serious trouble.
