Improve traffic conditions in four million trips a year and contribute to greater comfort at the entrance to the industrial area
The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Highways, advances in the works to improve access to the industrial zone Bolarín What, in the municipality of La Union.
This is a performance at the intersection of roads RM-F40, of the Union to the Camachos, and MR-F41, La Union to the village of Roche, in connection with the polygon, where the Department made an investment of 895,425 euros.
This project will improve traffic conditions in four million trips a year and result in greater comfort at the entrance to the industrial zone.
The goal, said Director of Roads, Jose Guijarro, is "to ensure safety for all drivers and facilitate entry and exit orders, especially for heavy vehicles."
In particular, the works involve the construction of a new roundabout with an outer diameter of 59 meters, which will have two lanes of 4.25 meters, one meter for shoulders and sidewalks of two meters.
Also install a new lighting and signage will be placed horizontally and vertically, and the marking required in the area.
"The new infrastructure will have five branches in and out toward the center of La Union through the Murcia road towards the village of Roche, the district of Los Camachos in Cartagena and the north and south of the estate," he concluded Jose Guijarro.
