Large families of La Union may obtain discounts on bus lines that link the town with Cartagena and Portman, as well as those engaged in internal transportation within the local urban area, through a series of specific bonds for these nuclei family that can reach 100 per cent cover the cost of transport.
This is what emerges from the collaboration agreement signed today by the city of La Union, the Association of Large Families of La Union, Portman and Roche, and Transportes Urbanos de Cartagena, SA (Tucarsa), allowing these families to use reduced price, until 31 December, regular bus services firm that manages the port city.
The agreement, signed by the mayor unionense, Francisco Bernabé, by the president of the Association of Large Families, Jesus Pedroza, and the representative of Tucarsa Francisco García, seeks to promote public transport among the citizens of the EU and especially of this collective, as transport costs to support these families to move to its members is a major social barrier.
The City Council has ensured that the Autonomous Region, an entity responsible for this transmission line, establish a bonus system -50% of the regular ticket price for families of general category and 100% for those special category, with Tucarsa , which holds the concession of the shuttle service and general purpose standing passengers by road between Cartagena and the surrounding area.
To be eligible for these bonuses only those members of large families that have a corresponding large family title issued by the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, which must purchase a personalized card and valid Tucarsa issued during the term of the agreement and, of course, the title of a Large Family.
For its part, the Association of Large Families will be responsible for the handling and management of bonds, as well as acting as an intermediary between the carrier and beneficiaries.
