The solemn procession of the Holy Burial and Maria Soledad on Friday has now terminated Easter Minera de La Unión, thanks to a tour that has passed without incident through the streets of the town and has been a brilliant climax to acts this year touted by the artist Paco unionense Conesa.
The Good Friday procession, which has started, as usual, from the Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, has been presided over the gathering and respectful silence that deserves a parade of the Holy Burial, which was formed by the beautiful thrones Empty Cross, Mary Magdalene, Holy Sepulchre, San Juan and La Soledad, who have raised the admiration of all the faithful in their wake.
With a large turnout of residents and visitors, the five thrones were accompanied by their Thirds Popes and tables from the Throne, the president of the Illustrious Confraternity of Christ the Miners, and local authorities, and is also preceded by the local police, banners and banners, and carriers of mining tools as traditional local Passion Week, living example of religious and cultural pairing of this region that undoubtedly enhances Minera Easter each year.
