The president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura in Murcia, María del Rosario Quesada, visited, with the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, restoration work and social integration being developed in four wadis in the municipality, specifically the Downloader, the Workshop, Porras and Duende.
All these works, which has a budget of 2.9 million euros financed by the Segura River Basin and is expected to be completed early this summer, is aimed at protecting and regenerating the natural environment, as well as reduction of pollution in one of the most valuable ecosystems in the Region of Murcia.
