Also have a Temporary Exhibition Area which will accommodate both mining in its various expressions, such as all kinds of artistic, and from which can be seen a large central skylight to be located in a monumental eight meters mining headframe high, a symbol which will serve as a tribute to the living history of the municipality.
The new Mining Museum have also a Hall-Auditorium for about 300 spectators and with the latest technology, such as booths for simultaneous translation, to enable the holding of conferences, concerts, cinema projection and realization of plays, it is intended to include the Union Regional Theatre circuit for a permanent and stable programming.
As stated by the mayor of La Union, Francisco Barnabas, "it is a truly spectacular project in which we will have four buildings in one, because the Museum is joined by the Regional Research Centre of Mining, Sala- Auditorium and the Temporary Exhibition Space, all equipped with the latest technological innovations. "
