The People's Party Union announced on Sunday afternoon, during the Executive meeting of its local, creating a new section under the name "People's Veterans" brings together all those members and supporters of this group policy that have the status of retirees and pensioners.
The group's coordinator, Salvador Martinez, was joined in this act by the President of the PP unionense, Juan Antonio Sánchez-Castañol, and the Secretary General, Francisco Bernabé.
A large group of supporters and activists thronged the party headquarters in the presentation of this initiative.
Veterans People "comes with the intention of carrying out cultural, sports and leisure with the aim of boosting the population unionense, being open to participation by all citizens, which shall be entered in the PP headquarters in La Union (Plaza Joaquín Costa).

I Championship Domino "Union City"

The tournament will take place in pairs and is open to all residents who wish to enroll in it.
The games will be developed by the league system, with play-off final.
The venue will host the Partido Popular de La Union, located in the Plaza Joaquín Costa.
The registration period will end next February 20.
The fee is free.
I Petanque Championship "City of the Union"
Similarly, Veterans People organizes Petanque Championship of "City of Union."

Ludo Championship
Furthermore, this new group has devised the conclusion of a championship ludo, to be held at its headquarters in the Plaza Joaquín Costa.
The registration period ends on February 20 to be free participation of all stakeholders.
Excursions
Veterans Populares "organized on a monthly basis a series of excursions to places of interest in the region.
They take place on Saturdays and Sundays to facilitate the attendance of more people.
The first exit will take place at the neighboring three millennium old city of Cartagena to see the impressive archaeological sites of Puerto de Culturas.
The second will target the Northeast, specifically the towns of Caravaca and Cehegín.
The People's Party The Union shall bear the cost of travel by bus, attendees must pay only the cost of the food menu to be held in each day.
Tribute Act
The People's Party and the Union Veterans People "will conduct a public act of homage to all those who have been part of the candidacies of local PP throughout the history of our democracy, including the stage of Alianza Popular.
The intention is to render an objective and just tribute to those who have believed and publicly defended principles and values marked by solidarity, honesty, respect and progress.
