Following the recent opening of the Pavilion and Primary Children in the Public School Herrerias unionense City Council is investing, through the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, some 102,000 euros in works for the renewal of the outer courts and to the implementation of major improvements in the main building of the center.
This not only is providing the new school facilities and services that are necessary to ensure the best educational service, but actively seek to improve the original facilities to contribute more, if possible, to great service This center has provided the municipality for many years.
It is expected that these works, which include the renovation of toilets, replacement of shutters, and the equipment with new electrical wiring, among other small performances, finalized earlier this year.
For its part, the new Children's Pavilion and Blacksmith Public School Primary opened in September, is located on the premises of the school, occupying part of the patio.
The new building has two floors (ground and first), has a total of 6 classrooms and an area close to 500 square meters.
At the completion of the works to renew the outer courts and improving the center's main building, the total investment in the CP Herrerías become of 610,000 euros.
