The mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, has today welcomed in the City Hall to the 32 new students included a workshop on "New sources of employment", an initiative to alleviate unemployment in the municipality through of training which will be active within the next 12 months.

Participants in the workshop will be divided into two types of work such as social assistance animation (22 students) and the installation of solar thermal panels (10 students), work for which the latter used the roofs of several schools and public buildings City, which will optimize them for their contribution to the environment.

Also, the employment workshop has hired four people for leadership, teaching and administrative provisions necessary to carry out this program.

According to its director, José Antonio Martínez, it is the "Workshop on Employment larger than the Autonomous Community has granted this year, as these groups are usually composed of 24 students, so you can imagine the resulting economic effort that this entails ".

For its part, the mayor unionense, Francisco Bernabé, expressed his "satisfaction out of unemployment to a total of 36 families at the same time are formed into new professions to have better access to the labor market."

Employment Workshop "New sources of employment" is promoted by the City of La Union and its total cost, funded by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia and the European Social Fund, is 691,249 euros.

These 36 jobs are added to the thirteen employees since September, and for nine months, perform functions in the municipality under the program "Promotion of local public and institutional use," which has a total of 49 employees and makes highlighted the efforts being made by the Consistory of the Union in this field with the help of the Autonomous Community.
