Environmental Orchard Park Pio, a project of the Fundación Sierra Minera unionense located in the village of Roche, today held an open day in which we have proceeded to the inauguration of an Environmental Training Room, built on site with the support of the Fundación "La Caixa".
The day was attended by the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, the Director of Business Area of La Caixa, Miguel Angel Alvaro, on behalf of his foundation, the president of the Fundación Sierra Minera, Pedro Martos, and the director of branch that the bank has in the main street of La Union, Pedro Pablo Martinez.
After touring various parts of Huerto Pio, as his flagship wheel of blood and a nursery of native species, has been a brief ceremony in which Francisco Miguel Ángel Bernabé and Alvaro have cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Hall was the Environmental Training, a space whose final cost of 50,000 euros, was financed by 77% by the Foundation "La Caixa".
The classroom, with a floor space of 86.34 meters square, is installed in one of Pius Garden plots close to the nursery, being integrated in the surroundings of the park environment.
This is a simple building with a room for the development of training and outbuildings are also necessary, as an office, lobby and toilets.
The company Restauralia Carthage, under the direction of the architect and the architect Alberto Ibero coach Javier A.
Dominguez, has been commissioned to carry out the execution of the works, after which we have proceeded to adapt the environment through gardening courses and nurseries.
It is, in short, a significant improvement to Orchard Pio, since the classroom to consolidate, improve and expand the range of training and environmental education are available to the school community and other groups.
