Completed and internal works in the new Center for Child Care (ISC) located in the neighborhood of El unionense Garbanzal, the exterior of this building work is progressing well, like those of Councilman José Torrente Plaza, adjacent to center.
The facility, with street facade Red The Alpargatero, are built on a plot of 5,000 square meters of municipal property.
The first phase of the project will create 94 places for children under three years whereas the second phase will enable the commissioning of many other places, so that a total of 188 available.
This new CAI replace the one found in the Santa Barbara and is open eleven months of the year, from 8.30 to 16.30 hours.
It is envisaged that work in it four and ten professional graduate Teaching in Early Childhood Education and a psychologist and an educator.
The new center, whose total investment budget is 1,300,000 euros, will have 12 classrooms, two of which are for babies from four months to a year -16 seats-four children from one to two years -52 seats - and six children from two to three years -120 seats.
In addition, the center will have a playground, kitchen and multipurpose room.
The works include construction of a playground open to the public in the area of the plot does not take up the nursery.
It is envisaged that the construction of the first phase of CAI completed by the end of this year.
