The Autonomous Community of Murcia and the city of La Union launched very soon, and together, the first network of global flamenco, an initiative that aims to tackle the great interest in the flamenco professionals and amateurs .
The announcement was the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, after meeting with the Minister of Finance Murcia, Inmaculada García, a meeting which has raised Bernabé García collaboration between the Foundation Cante de las Minas, opened in town in July, and the Integra Foundation, the Autonomous Community, to implement this initiative.
According to the mayor unionense, it will be a global network in which will accommodate all the content related to the singing, dancing and flamenco guitar music on an amateur, professional, festivals and events of any kind related with flamenco.
The idea is that the website of this network, whose name has not transpired, was developed in English, Spanish and Japanese, the latter a country that has 3,000 schools of flamenco and 100,000 students enrolled in them, figures that exceed including those in our country.
