The City of La Union and the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment have agreed to tender for the construction of the sports hall and changing rooms of Secondary School Sierra Minera of this town, which will start during this academic year.
This was announced today the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, after the meeting to be held in Murcia with the Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca.
With this action, valued at 694,672 euros and a lead time of nine months, aims to provide schools of two separate local sports halls, pending the flag at school Cegarra María Salcedo, to be implemented shortly.
During this meeting, Sotoca and Barnabas also have dealt with the new school Alfonso X the Wise, whose contract is due to receive a report from the Directorate General of Mines to authorize its construction on a site provided by the Race Street in Irun The Union, having decided as speedily as possible to receive it.
The total project cost of 3,400,000 euros, of which the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and the City has provided a consignment of 900,000 euros.
NEW PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING SERVICE
Moreover, the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, has announced the construction of new headquarters of the SEF in the municipality, particularly in the former municipal warehouse, located in the Main Street facade March 7, between the streets Pencho Cros and Juan Cayuela.
This building will be transformed for its new role, covers about 300 square meters, and after its demolition will rise a new building with ground floor and two new floors of 900 square meters, where they are located employment services the classrooms and an auditorium, among other agencies.
Counseling technicians have begun work on drafting the project and is expected throughout 2011, to tender the works for later start.
