The Councillor for Culture, Julio Garcia, thanked the university Cartagena that "have thought of La Union, a land of great writers, for conducting a course in which students will delve into the figure of one referee of the twentieth century Spanish literature. "
The course aims to bring students to the figure of Miguel Hernandez, through his literary creation, but also contextualizing the historical moment in which he lived.
You can analyze scenarios in which you can see its influence (Orihuela and, by extension, the southeastern Spanish).
Also perform a comparison with others in the area near Cartagena and La Union, exploring the relationships established with them.
In line with this last point, mention should be maintained close friendly relationship between the poet and literary Orihuela area as the Cartagena Carmen Conde and Antonio Oliver, and Mary unionense Cegarra.
Cegarra influence is seen in the work of Hernandez, where we found a recurring allusions to the scenery of the Sierra Minera and the sea.
