There are 22 houses in the urban municipality and 14 in the hamlet of Roche
The Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, accompanied by the mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, today visited the town unionense the 36 regional park which houses the rehabilitation work carried out by the Repair Plan, recently completed.

The 22 homes rehabilitated in the village of the municipality are located in a block between the streets Esteban Velasco Bernal and Camilo Jose Cela, while 14 of the hamlet of Roche found on the street Saura Pérez Martín, where woodwork was repaired metal exterior, and has carried out an improved sealing and insulation of buildings.

These homes are part of the work begun in 2009 for the recovery of regional public park and watched the preparation of more than 900 homes in the municipalities of Cartagena, La Unión, Abarán, Caravaca de La Cruz, Cehegín, Cieza, Molina de Segura and Puerto Lumbreras, and that, throughout this year, will be in another 600 new homes in Abanilla, Sewer, Alhama, Blanca, Calasparra, Cartagena, Ceuta, Lorca Puerto Lumbreras and Villanueva del Río Segura.

More action in the municipality
Another project under development in La Union is the revitalization of the Barrio de San Gil, an area was declared a Comprehensive Rehabilitation in 2008, and responds to an agreement between the Ministry, the municipality and the Fundación Sierra Minera by which others have been equipped 36 social housing for rent with an investment by the IVS of around 1.3 million euros.
