The Governing Council has authorized the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to carry out the works of remodeling the pretreatment of the sewage treatment plant of La Unión, for an amount of 699,920 euros, of which 279,968 will be executed in 2017 and 419,952 in 2018.
The Regional Entity of Sanitation and Wastewater Treatment (Esamur), which manages this treatment plant, has noted the technical deficiencies in the facilities.
The Ministry has drafted a project that includes the necessary work to provide the water treatment plant with easy operation and maintenance, as well as an efficient power and control network to ensure the optimal operation of the facilities.
The award of the contract for the execution of the project will be carried out by open procedure.
The initial period of execution shall be four months.
