This morning the Department of Sports headed by Jose Solano Legaz, has presented along with the Sports Association RK 10, the Football Tournament 7 to be held this Sunday at the Municipal Sports Center.
The Mayor, Pedro López Milan, Councilor for Sports, Jose Solano Legaz and the Sports Association RK 10, presented this morning in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, the Football Tournament 7 to be held on Sunday, November 6 in the Municipal Sports Center.
It is a five-hour tournament (9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) in which four teams consisting of a goalkeeper and nine players of any category participate.
The tournaments are held in different venues and municipalities throughout Spain during the 2016/17 season.
The grand final will take place in June 2017.
The Mayor thanked the organizers of this event who thought of La Unión as the venue for one of these events and invited them to the 2017 final in our Municipality.
In addition, this event has announced the new works to be carried out in the Municipal Sports Center, with the construction of the new stands, as well as the much needed renovation of the artificial turf rug on the football field.
