Cableunión company has completed the first tranche of investment in our municipality, with more than 600,000 euros distributed mainly in the modernization of the network.
The reforms introduced by Cableunión have led the company to purchase equipment for very high speed networks with speeds over 200 megabits per second.
Coordination between Councilman of new technologies, Ricardo Marmol Gonzalez and Manager Cableunión, Javier Pagán, have led to these and other improvements, such as creating a conduit for fiber optics in San Gil, facilitating interconnection between populations El Algar and La Union.
The next planned investment is a data center, which will offer businesses of the Union, connections and locations on attractive terms to encourage trade and local employment.
Javier Pagán, Cableunión Manager has moved to the Mayor of La Union, Pedro Lopez Milan, its intention to offer these services with few economic conditions accessible to users.
"This investment is included within already being carried out in El Algar where we are deploying fiber optics and combines both networks and include Local TV channel as a link between the two populations.
"We would also deploy these services in the industrial area so we expect from the local government, support for deployments."
