The Coral Argentum honored on Saturday the Mayor of La Union, Francisco Bernabé, the Deputy Director General of Caja Murcia, Juan Antonio Campillo Paredes, and the musician and composer, Miguel Rubio Alcantud.
Thus, this group, chaired by Ana Dolores Carrión, recognizes the merits made by the honorees for the benefit of development activity Coral Argentum.
The group was formed in 1995 in the heart of the Cultural Association of the Union.
In 1999, it broke away to form the Association of Musical "Coral Argentum."
Since 2004, is integrated into the Federation of Choirs of the Region of Murcia.
In 2006, he released the anthem of the Union by the musical group La Union.
A year later, the choir recorded a CD with the anthem and other works of their repertoire.
Musical Association "Coral Argentum" has participated in many religious events, social and cultural rights as the International Festival of Cante de las Minas, the festivity of Our Lady of the Rosary, and Murcia Three Cultures International Festival, among others.
The Coral Argentum, directed by Bernardo García Sáez, has 24 components between sopranos, altos, tenors and basses.
