The Mayor of La Unión, Bernabe Francisco, the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Daniel García Madrid, the coordinator of "The Flamenco Ferro, Francisco Aparicio, and the President of the Peña Flamenca Golden Melon, Mariano Escudero, presented in The Hall of the City of La Union, setting the XXXI International Festival de Cante Flamenco de Lo Ferro (Torre-Pacheco) to be held from 23 to 29 August.
One of the major developments of the next edition of the Festival of The Ferro is the tribute that will receive the Cante de las Minas and the city of La Union, represented by the President of the Festival and Mayor of the town, Francisco Bernabé, who is will present the Gold Medal of the contest.
This day of recognition will be held on August 25 at a gala tribute to the city called La Union which will feature performances of singers Capullo de Jerez, Miguel de Tena, Melon Gold Mining Lamp in 1999 and the song of the Mines in 2006, and Alvaro Díaz Carell who won the singing contest Lo Ferro.
